PIXELS by PATRICK JEAN

Patrick Jean’s new short film 'Pixels', is exploding on the web. It had over 1 million views in less than 24 hours. Impressive. And you video game lovers should dig it as it includes nods to Frogger, Donkey Kong, Tetris, and Atari. The best part in my opinion is when the NYC taxi cab dissolves straight into the pixel blocks as it drives down the street. Check out more from the team behind the spot here.

Pivot

This is an excellent little short animated movie. The story, style, animation, & editing are all top notch. The surprise twist is worth waiting for. More info here.

When a man is witness to a murder and takes pictures of the killer, he has to run for his life. During the chase he is able to turn the tables and the prey becomes the hunter. All resulting in an unfortunate ending.

Sweet animation/illustration for the film: 'H2 Oil'
