Hello, my name is Dirk Dallas.

I'm a graphic designer & soon to be daddy. This is where I toss all the things that inspire me from the Internets. Enjoy.

I have been envying Mark Weaver's work for awhile now, so I thought it was time to finally feature some of his stuff. He is more well known for doing the "design something cool everyday" thing, which is a project where he literally does just that. A new creative design every, single, day. Now that's impressive. I really like Mark's idea of collage and the style that he relays by mixing photos, with his vintage looking type and illustrations. His colors are pretty different as well, which is very refreshing. You can view his Flickr here and his personal site here.

Also GoMedia just posted an interview with him which you can view below:

Illustrator/Designer: Borja Bonaque

I guess I am on a typography kick today. Check out the work of Borja Bonaque. I got my eye on the Abcity Typo poster.

Illustrator/Designer: Jessica Hische

I'm loving the designs from Jessica Hische, and I want this poster for my little baby girl's room. Our baby is only a couple months away, and I am always looking for stuff to buy her now. This is not a good sign, she already has me wrapped around her finger :)

Also check out her newest blog, the Daily Drop Cap, which showcases an illustrative initial that she creates and posts everyday.

Thanks to Courtney & Jessica
